Queen’s Gate School A Level Results 2024
2024 has proven to be an outstanding year for A Level results at Queen’s Gate School, with our highest rates of A* and A*/A grades since the return to linear A Levels (with the understandable exception of the Pandemic years). With A*/A at 60%, and A* at 27%, our girls have proven that they can perform to the very top academic levels – and this has been matched with university places at Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, LSE, Edinburgh, St Andrews and Exeter, to name just a few. As always we have girls heading overseas, with successful applicants to NYU, University of Chicago and University of Michigan. Likewise, with our well-known strength in creative subjects, we are proud to be sending girls on to Camberwell and Central St. Martins. Among our many successful girls are those whose grades are all at A* – a truly phenomenal achievement.
In celebrating these results, it should not be overlooked that this is a year group whose secondary education was so severely disrupted by Covid, yet, throughout, they have shown admirable resilience and positivity. Their engagement in the wider life of the School has been exemplary – right up to their final days before their examinations, they were rehearsing with choirs, competing in sports teams, and supporting our vibrant outreach and charitable work. The Class of 2024 has embodied the characteristic QG generosity of spirit, while never losing the ability to inject every day with heart and humour.
In the 1920s, Queen’s Gate alumnae were among the founding members of the legendary London Bright Young Things set. A century later, we continue to produce the same calibre of young woman. We could not be more excited for what lies ahead for these girls – they deserve every success.
